DESCRIPTION:

We are an online B2B printing startup that is pioneering a brilliant solution to the packaging needs of businesses from small and medium enterprises to larger corporations. You will be working for a company that is breaking new ground in the way brands order and design the packaging that contains their products.

For this role, we’re looking for an experienced customer services representative with an operations focus. Think of yourself as the ultimate problem-solver for our team, taking on complex inquiries and turning them into custom packaging gold. You’ll be a frequent point of contact for our vendors, managing complex order requests, making tough judgment calls on order prioritization, and ultimately keeping customers happy by catching snags in the queue before they become a problem. You’ll need to be deeply knowledgeable about all things, from how to upload the correct design files (experience with Adobe Creative Suite prefered!) to every detail of our printing process. You’ll be part customer support, part production coordinator.
 
What you’ll do:
  • Smooth out operations by managing the production queue of jobs in progress. You’ll keep an eagle eye out for possible problem orders and try to resolve small issues before they become BIG ones. You’ll need to think quickly on your feet, and be in constant contact with multiple departments in the company to make sure every order is smooth sailing.
  • When customers ask for something ‘out of the box’ (pun intended!), you’ll work with our production team to make custom packaging magic.
  • When things get tough, you’re the one people call. You’ll act as a “second level” support within the customer service queue for those extra tricky situations.
  • Nowadays, it’s not enough just to answer customers via phone. You’ll show off your proficient, positive, and proactive personality in every communication with our customers — whether it’s by email, FB message, or chat.
  • Be a steadfast Know-It-All when it comes to order status, product info, technical issues, pricing and more. And if you don’t know it all, you’ll know how to track it down. Fast.
  • Keep our customers’ accounts up to date, managing refunds or credits when necessary. In other words, you always know just the right thing to say or do to keep customers happy.
Who You Are:
  • You’ve mastered the English language, particularly when it comes to written communication. You always pay meticulous attention to grammar, spelling, and word choice.
  • A real problem-solver – you’re able to quickly grasp difficult customer inquiries and complaints, investigate the root cause, and propose an equitable and cost-effective solution (so everyone wins!).
  • Detail obsessed. Like housecleaning with a toothbrush obsessed.
  • You have a special knack for turning simple customer inquiries into placed orders.
  • An unapologetic people person with a friendly, open writing style. Hugging optional, of course.
  • Reliable. Accountable. Dependable. And all the other good -ables. You know what they are.
  • Very familiar with printing processes and Adobe Creative Suite. You also have a working knowledge of printing, graphic design, and packaging production.
  • A communicator at heart, who appreciates how the right words can soothe even the surliest souls.
  • At least 5 years of directly related professional experience in a related industry.
