JOB DUTIES:

We have an exceptional opportunity for a Legal Executive Assistant (Home-based) to join our Healthcare Support Team.

Qualifications:

  • Associates degree with at least (2) years experience in an administrative support role.
  • Experience in legal administrative/paralegal role a plus.
  • Self-assurance in dealing with internal and external people at all organizational levels.
  • Ability to perform edits for spelling and grammar, present data effectively and interpret written information.
  • Enthusiastic team member with a positive personal presence.
  • Maintain confidentiality and professional demeanor at all times.
  • Strong problem solving and decision making ability.
  • Superior organizational, follow-up and prioritization skills.
  • Excellent verbal, presentation and written communication skills, with attention to detail & a high degree of accuracy.
  • Strong team building and customer relationship skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Provides administrative and secretarial support and assistance to attorneys, paralegals and Chief Legal Officer.
  • Responsible for independently handling all duties, taking direction from and balancing the needs of multiple team members.
  • Assists in the maintenance and organization of records and departmental documentation.
  • Develop PowerPoint presentations, Excel spreadsheets, routine letters, legal documents, legal documents, reports and/or other types of correspondence & communication materials.
  • Assist in preparation of general and complex legal, contractual and regulatory applications and filings including drafting of correspondence, assembling and organizing documents, distribution and tracking of outgoing mail and correspondence.
  • Triage incoming departmental mail and a variety of issues from corporate and field employees.
  • Schedule and coordinate appointments/meetings and maintain calendar, arrange business itineraries & coordinate travel plans.
  • Maintain and update a variety of databases and Sharepoint sites.
  • Ensure timely completion of department’s obligations, including follow-up and resolution of outstanding issues.
  • Ensure organized and smoothly running office environment.
  • Process & reconcile expense reports.
  • Answer phones in professional manner.
