JOB DUTIES:

Running local news sites – reporting, writing, editing, assigning, taking pictures and video, maintaining an events calendar, maintaining a database of local business listings, getting users involved, and liaising with important community figures.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Ability to manage a budget, Bull-doggish reporting instincts and willingness to ask tough questions of important people. Experience editing video, producing a Web site and/or excellent photography skills. Must have a firm grasp of AP style.
