JOB DUTIES:

As a Customer Support Center Associate you will be responsible for answering telephone call inquiries and promoting an organization’s products and services. Your duties will include researching and resolving complaints to ensure customer retention and satisfaction. We specialize in areas of customer renewal, customer retention and customer acquisition and this all requires the ability to confidently interact with people.

Position Summary

Assists and advises cardholder regarding their credit card accounts
Answers telephone and interacts with customers in a professional manner
Facilitates problem resolution in accordance with policy and procedure
Updates and notates customer information within the operating system
Completes necessary steps to initiate account transactions and investigations
Advises cardholders of billing disputes procedures including transferring call or opening disputes if after hours
Determines when to escalate calls that require further assistance

Summary of Qualifications

Keyboarding proficiency
Familiarity with Windows based computer applications
Strong oral communication skills; highly organized and able to maintain positive contact with cardholder while working through the required documentation
Interpersonal Communication; able to calmly interact with cardholders regardless of the stress level of issue
Ability to work in a home-based, fast paced, time sensitive and changing environment
Problem solving and logical thinking; demonstrates initiative and takes ownership of customer’s needs; makes suggestions to improve processes and customer service
Ability to work in a disbursed environment; works a flexible schedule to meet business needs

Job Requirements/Education & Experience

Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent
Work related inbound and or outbound telephone experience highly desirable
Experience with financial accounts, or related sectors preferred
0-2 years of related customer service or collections experience
Experience working in a home office is preferred.
