****** We are seeking 3 Remote Leasing Assistants to be responsible for preparing leasing proposals for our nationwide offices, entering deals into internal systems and tracking them, compiling marketing packages for prospective tenants and brokers as well as gathering and updating market information. Will also remotely assist with preparing/running leasing reports, reviewing lease language, processing broker invoices, recording expenses for payment, and making travel arrangements. Must have excellent phone, internet, and computer skills. The qualified candidates must be well organized with excellent follow-up and oral and written communication skills and be able to work independently. Familiarity with commercial retail lease agreements and/or paralegal experience a plus.
Our Lease Assistants will be responsible for the full scope of Lease Administration services including: abstracting and interpreting commercial lease documents (leases, amendments, subleases)
Rent analysis and rent payment processing
Client/vendor/landlord relationship management
Resolution of rent and other landlord/tenant issues
Reviewing annual landlord reconciliation statements and real estate tax calculations to ensure accuracy and lease compliance
Data entry and data management of lease documents
Tracking and maintaining critical dates
Subtenant account management and billing/collections of third party tenant rents
Respond to Lease Analyst questions with regard to procedures, lease interpretation, and billing calculations
Training of new Lease Analysts
Special projects as assigned by manager
You will work from home via a virtual project management site. You will be transferring notes, audio recordings into printed account reports. Hardware and software is provided. Applicants must have a locking desk and dedicated work environment prior to interviewing and training.
2+ years in a fast paced, corporate working environment
Prior work experience utilizing strong administrative skills
MS Word, Excel and Outlook knowledge
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Familiarity with commercial leasing language a plus
