HOURS: Part time, not to exceed 30 hours per period

JOB DUTIES:

Established consulting firm for over 20 years looking for 4 self–motivated full time Research and Marketing Assistants. Research assistants needed to perform in-depth research on antiques and collectible to be sold at auction gallery live and on-line.

Must be creative with the ability to research, write and describe antiques and collectibles. Must be able to spell, punctuate and have good grammar.

Excellent customer service to include the ability to work with individual consignors ensuring quality control when handling and selling items. Must be able to troubleshoot and handle customer complaints and concerns. Must be able to meet with consignors and assist and explain the auction process.

Must have the ability to create spreadsheets utilizing Microsoft excel; Must be able to upload and merge data to create marketing catalogue. Must be able to create invoices utilizing 2 different software programs. Must be able to review after auction statements and proof for accuracy.

Must be able to learn software, coordinate shipping of items and after auction responsibilities. The ability to learn software and the ability to upload pictures, data, etc.

Must be flexible and available to work online auctions, including auction previews which will require some Saturdays.

Must be able to use audio visual technology with confidence.
